    5 (d) (ii) : 1). Draw the graph for the equation "y=-x". 2). Then draw the graph for the equation "x/2-2/x=-x". 3). The points where the equation of line "y=-x" cuts the equation of line "x/2-2/x=-x", is the answer. 4). They are asking x so just take the x co-ordinates. 5). Thats the answer.

    OK. In the question they are asking us to "write down the equation of a "straight line" which passes through the origin". There are many possibilities. As we do not have any other information, we have assume the equation to be x=ky, where k is any unit. It can 1, 2, 3, 4, n. Thats the answer.

    Re: MAAAthhhh Urgent Any line passing through the origin...comes under the equation x=y. Out here they haven't mentioned any other information...so the equation of line comes to x=ky.
