IGCSE Economics (0455). How Many Marks for an A*?

Hey all! I was just wondering how many marks I would need to get an A* in IGCSE Economics (0455). The first paper is out of 30 and the other out of 80, so how many marks out of 110 would I need to get an A*? Thanks a lot! :)

HARDEST MATH PAPER IN THE HISTORY OF IGCSE 0580 MATH 42 DISCUSSION

I was surprised at paper 42! It was one of the hardest papers I've seen (and I've done tons of past papers) :(

    math paper 42

Yes. I agree! I was shocked at this paper! I found it very hard. I've done past papers all the way until 2008 and practiced tricky questions from the papers before 2008, but this was one of the hardest papers I've seen :(

    May/June Mathematics!!!!

I'm guessing in the question it said they are similar shapes. I would turn the second shape around to match the first shape, so that you can see which side/angle really corresponds with the first shape. Then set up a proportion of the same sides, and because you want to find the area, we square...

    May/June Mathematics!!!!

I don't think that's right. Although, I'm no expert on this. Can anyone else give advice on this? I don't know where the 1/40 came from ---> (1/20)^2 is 1/400. Also, you put your answer in cm squared, when you were working in m squared. This is how I worked it out: Can someone say if what I...

    May/June Mathematics!!!!

I used similarity to solve this. When the scale is given as 1:20 (without specified units), the units are same (unless specified, like 1cm:40km). Since the model's area for the roof is in square metres, the model is measured in metres, so it's 1m:20m. Then work the rest out finding the area of a...

    May/June Mathematics!!!!

Hmm, I got the same answer as you. I got 2. I also put it in a software called Microsoft Mathematics and it also got the answer 2. Maybe the answer in the book is wrong?

    May/June Mathematics!!!!

From my understanding, the base is what is being raised by a power. The base could be an algebraic term or a number. You have to be careful with finding what is being raised by a power. For instance, in (4x)^7 the base is 4x because the whole thing is being raised to the power of 7, which is why...

For Indices (also known as exponents), I would definitely recommend all these videos: https://sites.google.com/site/harlandclub/Home/math/algebra/exp and all these videos on rational exponents (which is also known as fractional indices)...
