You know what I think it's better if we forget about that nth term and prepare for paper 4

The paper was nothing like the specimen. The specimen was freakin' easy! I had so many hopes from mathematics :(
Last year the threshold for A* was 88% while the paper was easy. I hope it drops this year.

everyone in our batch of boys did it correct...the nth term was 2n^2+3....and paper 4 is gonna be very tough for sure
Well our teacher never taught us how to do it but I know now and rest of the paper 2 wasn't that hard it was fine I was only stuck at the nth term question.Paper 4 is usually more hard than paper 2 so we can expect it to be tough
P.S As far as I know only one girl found it idk if someone else found it because after the paper we didn't get time for dicussion and for the boys I have no idea about them but the point is that many people did leave the nth term question

0.25555.....
x=0.2555....
100x=25.555...
10x=2.555...
100x-10x=25.555...- 2.555...
90x=23
x=23/90
I think this is correct, but I did it wrong in the exam too :(

Thankss dude i was wondering how to solve the question :oops: If only this convo wouldve happened earlier haha. Can u tell me the cube way as well plz?

Your welcome, and I'm not really sure about a good method for cubic sequence yet, there are a lot, but most take too much time...
Anyway if I find anything I'll let you know.

For cubic sequences, it is in the form --> an^3 + bn^2 + cn +d. a is the difference at the third level, divided by 6. You then have 3 unknowns which can easily be solved simultaneously..
