How'd your physics Papers go ?

it was asking for current not power...

Q9 second last part was asking for the power produced by the transformer's ac output. Voltage was 240V, current was already given as 1.6A. Hence P=VI. It was for 2 marks. 1 mark for P=VI, 1 mark for the correct answer i.e 384W.

UziB u see wat i know is that we never use formula P=VI wen a question on transformer come......we use I= Pout/voltage.or ploss=I^2 *R...

That part didn't concern the transformer anymore. It was just talking about electricity in the circuit so we could use P=VI
