Any new habit is hard at first. Look for small wins during the initial adjustment period to build confidence and self-efficacy. Did you exercise today as planned? Fantastic! Mark it in your calendar and acknowledge the accomplishment. Early wins build momentum.

Schedule Workouts Treat exercise appointments like any other important commitment. Block out the days and times in your calendar and do not schedule anything conflicting. Sticking to the workout schedule gets easier with consistency. Eventually, exercise will feel like a normal part of your day.

Find an Accountability Partner Sharing your goals and exercise plan with a supportive friend or family member helps accountability. Check in regularly about progress. Ask them to remind or even join you for workouts to stay motivated. Having someone invested in your success goes a long way.
