Yup, same here. Did you receive any letter yet?

Especially the Physics section, right?! The reasoning sections were difficult too :( have you received anything from aga khan yet?

I did! How was it for you? Found it a little difficult as an A Level student. Have you received anything yet?

Physics Paper 5 discussion and expected gt !!!

Nah, I don't think so. It'll probably be 1 mark off, because 1 was to calculate the value and one was to calculate the uncertainty. What did you guys write for question 1?

Physics Paper 5 discussion and expected gt !!!

Yes, that part was confusing, but I accidentally didn't realise that the sheets were square, so I used the previous width :/

Physics Paper 5 discussion and expected gt !!!

What do you mean calculating the area was tricky? It was pretty straightforward, no? The tricky part was implementing all those uncertainties.

Physics Paper 5 discussion and expected gt !!!

Yeah, question 2 required a lot more work this time. And Q1 was unexpected.

    PHYSICS P5 - HELP NEEDED - URGENT

    1) To calculate uncertainties, you usually can get the maximum value and subtract it from your normal value. For example if a reading 'T' has value lg 7 and uncertainty 0.2 then first you calculate lg 7. Then you calculate lg 7.2. Subtract this value from lg 7 and this is your uncertainty for...

Chemistry Paper 52.. How was it?

I didn't so good either, if you guys want to discuss, PM me.

    Chemistry M/J 2015 Paper 52

The technique used to do this question is actually very different from others. For the first part, you have to find the pKa. This can be done using your graph. Remember, the pKa of the acid is equal to the pH at the half-neutralisation point. In other words, look at the volume where the pH rises...

You use the potential divider formula. For 121.5 ohms, the total voltage in the first segment is (121.5/121.5 + 120)*2000mV which gives you like 1006mV and then for the second part of the circuit (5000/5000+5000)*2000mV which gives you 1000mV. So 1006-1000 = 6mV

I put adding for Q1 b. because both centripetal force and gravitational force act inwards, so 24.6+0.084 = 24.7N. And I got 432g for the nuclear question as well and 3.3-3.35 years for the part after that.
