    Calling everyone!

I'm sorry if i'm late. I'd suggest give it again if you're aiming for an A*. From the past few sessions the checking has become extremely strict I got 100 in Math AS and I gave M1 and P3 in my A2. Im pretty sure i got 50/50 in M1, and i mean PRETTY SURE. I might've lost 5-6 marks in P3 and my...

HOW WAS PHYSICS PAPER 5 PPL ? HOW WAS YOUR EXAM ?

Thats something new there. You know what, **** it. Let the examiners decide. I'm outta here, gotta enjoy my holidats till they last

HOW WAS PHYSICS PAPER 5 PPL ? HOW WAS YOUR EXAM ?

well if u think about it, the whole question of passing or not passing revolves around the concept of approximation. 1/v^2 will be o as v tends to infinity and as v increases, the angle tends to infinity. But well, u can't achieve a velocity of infinity with a table fan or whatever, hence...

HOW WAS PHYSICS PAPER 5 PPL ? HOW WAS YOUR EXAM ?

oh yes. right coz it's 1/v^2! Phew thank god but er, it can't pass through the origin, coz when wind speed is 0, what are u gonna plot on the x-axis which reads 1/v^2 ? 1/0 is undefined.. also theta is 90 degrees, when v is 0, so tan 90 is again undefined. (0,0) cannot be a point, hence doesn't...

HOW WAS PHYSICS PAPER 5 PPL ? HOW WAS YOUR EXAM ?

Urgh! damn, i forgot to find the units for it! SHIT SHIT SHIT! ****, it was so easy! URRRGHH! I'm losing a mark there and another coz i forgot to mention the gradient will be negative and won't pass through the origin. Maybe a few here and there, hoping for atleast 25-26/30

HOW WAS PHYSICS PAPER 5 PPL ? HOW WAS YOUR EXAM ?

did he have to give units for any value in the 2nd question? HOw may marks was it for?

    How was the P52?

Deriving an equation for the speed of the wind that the blade generates from voltage and current values seems a little strange to me. Anyway I forgot to mention that the slope will be negative and won't pass through the origin -_-

    How was the P52?

HAHAHA! I lol'd at that for half an hour! Lol, but in all seriousness, could you figure it out? Well, the diagram had "Wind with speed v", so i assumed the wind speed is known. Ayway i did give some vague answer about using a table fan and the regulator. :P

    Physics paper 5 doubt.

Check this http://www.xtremepapers.com/papers/CIE/Cambridge International A and AS Level/Physics (9702)/9702_s11_qp_51.pdf Question 2ci) It says plot p against 1/h. That means we plot p on the y-axis and 1/h on the x-axis right? But isn't p the independent variable here? We plot the...

this is from oct/nov 2007's markscheme (chem paper 4) "Energy is provided by the breakdown/hydrolysis of adenosine triphosphate (ATP) [1] ATP (+ H2O) → ADP + Pi (+ energy) or in words [1] ATP is produced during respiration/Krebs cycle/oxidation of glucose, fats or proteins/ in mitochondria/ADP...

Chemistry 42....how did it go?..expected GT

Yes, solubility increases with decrease in temperature? Anyway, might lose one here, a few in the organic questions too maybe. Let's see, still hoping for 90+

Chemistry 42....how did it go?..expected GT

I'm pretty sure -OH is right, there isn't any other group there in the molecule which is likely to get broken down somehow. ATP with water? Nah And ofcourse, oxygen is soluble in water, LOL! How do you think the aquatic life exists? I'm not sure about my answer too, well lets see hope for...

Well, i basically wrote the same thing now didn't i? I dont think they want us to find the enthalpy of solubility? Does that even make sense? I think what we've done is correct, dont worry. We shouldn't lose any hopefully :)
