Ideal Gas Equation!

In equation PV=nRT, why do we need to multiply no of moles with R (molar gas constant)? :? Got it till pressure, volume and temperature but why R? and how is PV/T directly proportional to n? Iam sort of confused with n and R... If someone can explain this... plzzzzz........... :!: And what is...
