I disagree! And what’s in aqeeda to learn? It forms the basis of everything our belief our ebadat. Its there in Quran, its there in ahadith. We can’t separate these two as totally different subjects.
I agree that for our spiritual grooming and increasing emaan we must learn Quran and hadis.

ofc u do.. coz that's how everyone thinks.. but if aqeedah is so important where does that word come in quran? did the prophet teach it?
Understand this clearly, aqeedah is used as a set of words upon which u believe and become part of a group. so you believe Allah s.w.t has hands like no one else, and say he is on throne and now you are a salafi,

u claim to believe some other words and become maturidi or ashari.. and now every other one of 73 sects is going to hell except urs.. that is how aqeedah is used.. BUT when it comes to quran teaching u who gets jannah, it is not a sect.. rather its about eeman and islam(to surrender).. also used as eeman and amal..

so where it used to be that sahaba will be scared to stand in front of Allah, our average joe is confident he will go jannah coz he is salafi or whatever.. we have reduced islam to just belonging, real islam is surrendering to Allah with eman.. claiming aqeedah is what has made us sectarian, and proof of that is in business a salafi will cheat u the same way as a deobndi would;
