ppl even consider A bad ://
I remember getting an A in Isl n 2A*s n ppl were like 'ohhhh wutd she get an A in?'
I used to hate this thaz y I used to be scared of getting something lesser than an A*.
Lol the night b4 the result I had decided that if I had gotten something lesser I would just consider it a test from God and be grateful.

He still blessed me with 3A*s n I'm very very thankful to Him.

lol where i live ppl also used to expect no less than A*... but really when all is done n dusted, they put too much expectation on us... khair thats lief.. expectations help u perform too i guess... but really not every1 is good at exams...
i have students that pick up stuff immediately and others who arent as sharp, for each to have similar exam is not fair..

true that. And every person is capable of doing different things.
Theres no concept of a 'person's scope'.
People think fields have scope like Engineering and Medicine.
And that's why most of the students are pushed into fields they don't have any interest in.
And then they blame the students for bad grades.

true.. but problem is much deeper than that... schools are designed to make u work all day on what u are told without question n zero creativity so u can feed the industry... no wonder we dont have thinkers like iqbal anymore coz he died telling us stay away from an education that ruins ur spark n we didnt listen.. x_x

yhh true...n this is a major difference in schools abroad and schools in Pak. And idky ppl fail to realize that development needs creativity too. People here are more like machines.

read the book by john holt - how children learn, how children fail. dumbing us down by john taylor gatto... etc...
thats why clever ppl now go for unschooling or home education etc...
