The fact that you are putting a certain ingredient with a certain amount makes it a recipe.

well i never use a certain amount..watch me baking some day...XD..not that i always do..but sometimes i just pop in all the ingredients randomly...

I do that that a lot but the fact that the ingredients are random it makes it a recipe.
