n u know i was thinking this project in med field... i once read a paper by some ppl of Harvard.. they wrote it on the Indus hospital in karachi.. its a charity hospital.. with epic facilities.. cool part for techies is that its almost paperless...

thy had their own software.. n its cool.. a patient has a card n if he had blood test that doc orders.. lab posts results to his ID so doc can review it as soon as results r posted etc.. it makes life super efficient.. so think n research u can find stuff in that field to work on thats cool n helpful..

Wow this is happening in Pakistan masha'Allah.
Currently we are working on a project that replaces most of the paramedical staff of a hospital with robots. For now, we are only doing the documentation to learn the engineering of the robot but it can be implemented in the future.

oh acha... long way to go.. in our studies we considered 5th n 6th semester the hardest... but alhamdulillah it was passable :p

yeah robots *(exception is me) arent very good with common sense so u cant use them to replace a human's awesomeness but cool project n area of research..

This seems hard to believe honestly cause normally the condition of public hospitals is really poor. They are doing a great job.
ALL the robots are dumb. :p
Not replace them entirely but carry out activities like transporting blood bags, and administering medicines, etc.
