i am getting arctan(2/3) as answer... greatest val in my view req some calculations ...great4est arg is arctan(2/3) +pi/2 and smallest arg by observation of the sketch is pi/2 to give difference =arctan(2/3)

how did u get arctan(2/3)
M.Omar
M.Omar
greatest arg is indeed 2.16(3sf) which approx equal to 2.2 as she stated

I believe u wud have a sketch of a shaded semicircle facing upwards.... (its diameter wud be line y=3 (Imaginary line =3) and with radius 1 ..it,s centre wud be (-1,3)

so we see with radius of 1 it would touch line x=0 and thus its min arg would be pi/2 (90 degress) ... for max arg we draw a line from origin to other end of diameter so that the total length opposite to origin is 2*radius=1 and length of base =3 to give angle with y axis = tan^-1(2/3) and total angle( which starts from x axis) = tan^-1(2/3) +pi/2
