Calculate the areas of semi circle, and shaded region using 'r' as radius... and probability of shaded is 'shaded/total'.

The radius of semi-circle is equal to diameter of small circle.
R = radius of semi-circle
R/2=radius of small circle

Area of semi-circle: 1/2 pi(R)^2
Area of small circle: pi(R/2)^2
Area of shaded: 1/2 pi(R)^2 - pi(R/2)^2 --> 1/4 pi R^2

Probability = shaded/semi-circle = 1/2 ?
