It's either A or B since X is deffo tension. I'd pick B since Z compressing and Y would probably not keep that pole straight. B makes complete sense for the shape.

Try to apply these forces. You have to keep the length of everything same.

IDK mate, I just used General Knowledge. Haven't studied Deformations yet.

The pole is in the same place (doesn't move) so it has to be these 3 forces.

^^ The 10 N forces cause the lever to move in an anticlockwise direction and so does the 5 N force. Their sum =
(10 * 2) + (5 * 2) = 30

The 15 N force causes the lever to move in a clockwise direction. Sum = (15 * 3) = 45

Resultant = 45 - 30 = 15 N m

I understood that. How do you know that 3m and 2m is the perpendicular distance for the vertical forces? Their pivot P is above.

Just extend the lines of those forces and frm a particular pt find the perp distance ...For the 10 N for instance Extend the tht 10 N line though we do have the initial idea tht it,s horizontal and hence perp distance(by extending tht horizontal force line) wud be 2 ..Same case for 5 where u extend tht 5N line and can easily see wht the perp distance wud be
