It is hard right? I also thought it was going to be an easy subject at first, but then as i started studying for it, i realized it was so detailed and complicated. I just hope I can get a good grade in e.m. at what time are you giving the exam? I will be doing it at 1 p.m london time.

How are you studying for e.m? From the textbook or mainly pastpapers?

Also, do you have any tips to answering questions? I often give answers that are sort of relevant, but not what the mark scheme says. So thats the main reason why I lose marks. Once I know what I need to say, I can explain it well!

like, things like EUTROPHICATION, u need to mention excess nutrients, algae blooms, decompose, bacteria, lack of oxygen..
like the main points should be there. and dont worry , if ur ans dosent match the marking scheme

Right so things like eutrophication i can explain correctly because there are certain things they look for all the time, like you mentioned. but in other questions, where the answer is not straight forward..

eg, why does deforestation occur in some countries more than others? Well, i would normally say because of high populations, the need for more energy. but the markscheme says, the governments support to it, the economic development of the country and use of forests for fuelwood, and afforestation.

Perhaps you are correct about the different variety of answers, but they examiners only look at whats on the paper, and whats in the MS. if they match, well good job, if they don't, they dont give marks. so yeah..

like u said high population, so continue saying, high population, so more need for fuel, more wood for furniture, more forests cleared for farming, or building buildings...

Yeah, i will remember to back them up, but do you think they will they give it full marks if its reasonable, but noton the marking scheme?

maybe water diseases, food chain, pollution...
and ur ans does not have to be exactly as the marking scheme...
the MS is just like a hint or guide kinda thing.,...
