    V=Area x height (ryt) where V=4 now area= 1/2.x^2 4=1/2.x^2 x h therefore h=8/x^2 Now to find surface area: A= 1/2x^2 + 2(1/2xh) + 2xh + 5/4x.4/5x simply plug-in the h=8/x^2 1/2x^2 + x(8/x^2) + 2x(8/x^2) + x^2 cleaning it up will give you 3/2x^2 + 24/x H.P(hence proved) let me know if you got...

    Its simple man...First find the h by equating it to volume. U'll get 8/x^2=h. Now simply add all the surface areas and substitute "h". somethin lyk this A=2x.h + 2(1/2xh) + x^2 and the upper lid i.e 4/5x.54x and simplify it to get the desired results...
