    Just now I checked the syllabus and I found that thing But I also found that there is no significant changes in the syllabus and you can check it , it is in the beginning of the syllabus .... This means that it is not a big thing ..... and btw please post here any news about that thing if you...

    BUT you know cambridge have never been that silly to make such a trick , and to a large extent , if your suggestion is correct, they will accept it like C10H21OH.........

    Refer to october november 2012 paper 3 variant 2 chemistry paper Question 7 (a) (ii) In short, it is a similar question to this one where mark scheme says that molecular formula could be represented like C10H21OH .......
