    Maths modules

Hello, at my school we do C1, C2 and S1 in Yr 12, and C3, C4 and M1 in Yr 13 However, we students can take FP1 and two other modules, as long as we study them on our own. My question is, can anyone give me any insight into what each of them are mainly about? I don't know which other two to take...

    Chemistry unit 2 6CH02 exam.How was it?

The question said that compound whatever was more soluble in water than it was in hexane, so A can't be the answer because if intermolecular forces in water are stronger, it'd be harder for the compound whatever to break the bonds of water and dissolve in water, so it's answer C, compound...

    Chemistry unit 2 6CH02 exam.How was it?

The question was out of 2 marks right? The marks tend to be for the curly arrows, but I guess you'll lose one for using the SN2 mechanism though How was the rest of it?

    Chemistry unit 2 6CH02 exam.How was it?

Because it was a tertiary halogenoalkane, so the surrounding methyl groups stabilise it :)

urgent help needed phyiscs unit 2!

For part b, since they're in parallel, both lamps have the same voltage across them. You know from part a that the resistance across lamp A will be less than the resistance across lamp B. P=V^2/R. Power and resistance are inversely proportional to each other, therefore, the voltage across both...

urgent help needed phyiscs unit 2!

V=IR, current across both of them is the same because they are in series. Voltage across lamp B is greater than that across lamp A. V=IR, if I is same in both, V and R are directly proportional, and V is greater in lamp B, so R must also be greater. The opposite must happen for lamp A, get it?
