    Provided this is all correct, I will, Inshallah get around 48/49 marks I think. Everything up to and including Q7 part (ii) is fine, but in part (iii) i'm getting 0.15 instead of 0.14 :/ How much of a deduction should I expect for that?     A'level Mathematics Paper 42 (M1)

    Q6 was the only tricky one I found (Q7 was easy, genuinely don't see why it bothered so many students). I'll be surprised if the GT is less than 42. I found this one far easier than P1 (12). I just hope we had to measure the total time in Q6, can't remember it right now, so might lose some marks...

    How was M1 (Math P/42)? (No discussion)

    It was easy. I don't see the fuss about Q7, it was very standard and easy. Q6 was harder and probably the only tough one in the paper. I'll be surprised if the GT is any less than 40. Knowing me, I probably left a question or something supremely stupid to lose my standard quota of marks.

    Are November papers more difficult than May/June ones?

    Nope, I find no difference whatsoever. Either way, the GTs are there to balance out the difficulty level and constantly vary.
