Good Laptops?

Alright guys, I am currently baffled over which laptop should I buy. I have heard that Lenevo's laptops are really good.
Any good recommendations, apart from the Macbooks' series. My requirements are fast processor (i7), and good memory, as well as display

Why do you hate Dell?
You just want incredible performance under $800? Plenty of laptops there. I can't really pinpoint as I usually check Dell (it has the best customer service in Pakistan). I haven't encountered any problems with Dell - been using for 6 months.

I just don't fancy Dell. Anyway, do name a few good ones. I might as well re-develop my interest

My budget is 800-, although my dad has offered me a Macbook Pro (don't want to exhaust parent's money), and I'd rather buy that.
I don't need a gaming laptop, just a simple fast one.

Okay lets just say $900. Pm me the names and specs of the laptops (names would be enough, although).
The Macbook Air comes in 11 and 13 inches, way too small for a laptop

Plus, if you go for Laptops, you should just go for Mac or dell. That's the best (if you say GOOD one). Other I gave you that link. Check it out (HP would be best for you).
I belong from middle class family, no doubt. But I have used many laptops here of my RICH friends even HP. Best experience was in Mac and dell.

Ok, I will have a look at Dell
HP; I was interested in that, until I came to know that it has poor battery life, and many complaints. The same applies to Acer. I know, Mac is the best.

Mac is much more expensive.

But the feel you get using apple products, you wont get in any other. Plus, it is not difficult to use. Did you found any difficulty while using it?
