Urgent help, I want suggestion for may june 2018

Ok so here it is,
I am having exams this may june 2018 and I am in dilemma whether to go for 6 subs or 9 subs
I am doing 3 more subs in order to get ICE award (separate certificate)
but the real issue is that I have to pay extra money, which is not the best thing
so I want suggestion from who ever got ICE award before, was it any helpful in your future prospects or was it a waste of time
