Could somebody please explain its color changes?
Is it purple to pink when added to reducing agent? And purple to colorless when sulphuric acid is present in the solution as well?

Well you are right that KMNO4 has the colour change from purple to colourless when sulphuric acid is present with a reducing agent.the main purpose of using sulphuric acid is for making the reaction fast.the colour remains colourless until the reducing agent remains after which it is changed to purple or pink the colour of KMNO4 if taken in conc. amounts.

Well i dont know about its colour in simply a reducing agent

it is an oxidizing agent itself used to test for the presence of a reducing agent. Acidified potassium permanganate changes colour from purple to colourless in the presence of a reducing agent. This is because the manganate(7) ions (purple) are reduced to manganese ions(colourless).
