"include both absolute and relative referencing and must not use a named range" suggest?

do you know first how to use the vlookup function?
Yeah, I suppose.
=VLOOKUP(Here I'll select the cell with the lookup value, then the table array, then the column number, then either True, or False)
Is there anything more, you can tell me ofcourse.

thats it, nothing more to include,
when including absolute referencing this means that the range specified will not change
relative referencing is the opposite
in the table array, if the lookup values are in order (ascending or descending), you can use "true" as a named range or just leave it blank thats the meaning of
"dont use a named range"
hope this helps

+ if the lookup values are not in order use "false" as the named range and dont leave it blank
i guess if the question says dont use a named range the values will be in order
just check it

Ahaaa! I get it now!
But I thought that "dont use a named range" would mean, selecting a range and giving it a range name and then using it in the formula. Or is that wrong?
