In binomial expansions,

(1+x)^-1 = 1 - x + x^2 - x^3 + x^4 + x^5

In vectors, to find sqrt of a complex number of the form : z = re^iθ , use the formula

√z = √r e^i[(θ+2πk)/2] ; where k = 0

(and)

√z = √r e^i[(θ-2πk)/2] ; where k = 1

I find these results helpful coz it saves time while doing papers. Thought it could help you guys as well.
