Guys, i am appearing for the AS level computer science this winter series. I want to know how do you guys prepare for Computer Science. There're limited number of past papers which i can practice and the book that I've doesn't contain in-depth information, at-least the required knowledge according to the syllabus.

Computer Science requires clear concepts and some hands on practice of programming portions. If you can get "Cambridge International AS/A Level Computer Science Coursebook" it is best! This book contains everything you need to know for the exams. Tbvh, nothing comes out of this book. Yes it is true that some concepts are not well explained in the book, but for that you can use YouTube to help you out.

you can download the book's CD from www.gceguide.com - contains resources as well!

I would also recommend that you use the website: www.zakonweb.com . this website has topical past papers for every chapter which contains questions from Computing which are relevant to computer science syllabus. so they are really good for further practice. In addition to these, it would be really good if you read the examiner reports. Examiner reports contains some really important tips and point out some real big blunders that students make. So you can avoid them.

CIE has also given out some helping booklets for this subject. You may like to check them out as well. Those booklets contain links to useful resourse, practice questions etc. So do check them out. You can download them from this link: http://www.gceguide.com/resources/example-candidate-responses-extra-resources/ Select A Levels, and then search for '9608'.

Good notes for P2 computer Science: http://www.gceguide.com/computer-science-9608-paper-2-theory-notes/

That's all! Best of luck :D
