Computing 9691 Paper 2 related!

I have not learned high level languages like Visual Basic, Phyton or even Pascal. I have learned only QBASIC/GWBASIC for paper 2. So, i just wanted to make sure if it's all right to use such an easy language for P2? Because they tend to check the logic you use to solve the particular psuedocode, isn't it?
