I am wondering that in the past paper questions for biology atp the magnification answer (length of drawing divided by length of specimen) is multiplied by 500 or 800 in certain cases when the specimen is shown in a microscopic diagram. My query is that the microscopic magnification of the certain specimen (e.g. cells) is not given so how do I figure it out?
