A Levels - Computing or AICT? My future is in programming. What if I do both? I did IGCSE ICT in O Levels.

its better to go for Computer Science 9608 in A level if you are planning your future in programming.

I know this is pretty late but I wanted to say a big thank u,especially fot the ATC paper. Not only did ur guesses covered everything but were spot on and I think a much easier version of those questions were asked from us in the exams.Your ATC paper truly did help a lot.Again thnx

Computer Teacher for O & A Level Computer Science
I have been teaching O' levels Computer Studies & A' Level Computing for the last 15 years overall, in some leading school systems of Karachi, Pakistan.

I've never dreamt of taking teaching as my career in the beginning during my masters in Computer Science but I hadn't any choice except making it my profession due to market saturation.

It has been a very sensational experience building future products in terms of students' career development in the competitive market place meeting future challenges.

I have written some handouts such "Computer Glossary", "SDLC Guide" (for Computer Projects), and "ATC Guide" (Alternate-to-Coursework for Paper 3) for O' level Students and shared with hundredth of students up till now.

I found it very affective on the evidence of students encouraging feedbacks during five past years.
I consider my life time acheivements are my books that I have written for O' Levels Computer studies that are Information Technology & Me, Alternative to Coursework Handout, compilation of Topical Past papers for Paper 1 and compilation of ATC past papers. My book Information Technology & Me is first ever written by any Pakistani writer for O' Levels Computer Studies.

I am very optimistic to almighty Allah that my efforts for students of O levels & A levels would fulfill all requirements of the CIE (Cambridge International Examination), Inshah Allah.
