stats...how to solve this qs???

guys!! plz give me the steps to solve this problem:

i think the first one is 7C2*8C3/15C5=0.3916
the second one may be 2!*3C3*3!=12?? am i right?

somebody address the GREENGAGE cnfusion.........its now been almost 12 hrs and no one is anseering

first take three Gs together=3!*7!/3!*3! =840
then take no Gs together=7P3*6!/3!*3!=4200
now deduct the sum of three Gs and no Gs from total i.e
9!/3!*3! - (4200+840) =5040
this will give u the arrangements containing exactly 2 Gs.

arrange all the letters like this.this will leave 6 spaces like i have shown for the last G to be filled.this will ensure that the third G
will not be together with the other two.hence the third G can be arranged in 6P1 ways and so 6P1*7!*2!/3!*2! =5040 ways.
